Frequently asked questions

What does the starting fee cover?

One entity, one location, CAD activity, up to 100 monthly transactions and three bank, credit card or loan accounts combined, plus the industry limits shown. Software subscriptions and HST are additional.

What counts as a transaction?

One distinct posted accounting transaction, such as a supplier bill, bill payment, receipt or journal entry, regardless of the number of ledger lines. A supplier bill and its later payment count separately. A matched bank-feed item is not counted again. Transfers between your own accounts count once.

Is the starting fee a final quote?

No. It is a baseline only. We review your accounts and requirements before finalizing the scope and fixed fee. Record quality, complexity and additional services can change the price.

Can I stay on Essentials if my needs grow?

Yes. Your plan is based on scope, reporting and industry support. We review your current needs during consultation and confirm any revised fixed fee in advance.

Will my bill change each month as transactions fluctuate?

No. Your agreed monthly fixed fee stays in place under your engagement terms. Sustained scope or volume changes are reviewed during consultation and any revised fee is agreed in advance.

Do you work in QuickBooks Online?

Yes. These packages are designed for QuickBooks Online. Conversion or setup is separately quoted.

What is excluded?

Tax returns and tax advice, audit or assurance work, historical cleanup, software subscriptions and services not expressly listed in your proposal. Cancellation and payment terms are set out in the engagement agreement.
